Red Lion London 1521, Antique 1921 Anniversary Horse Brass
Horse brasses were developed in the 17th century to decorate and identify draft horses but also to be used as charms. Today they are popular as fireside decorations in both homes & pubs.
This beautiful cast brass was made for the Red Lion London, which was built in 1521. Dating to the 1920's this was possibly a 1921 anniversary brass.
